The kids are excited for the Easter bunny to stop by our house. At some point through the years it has become a smaller second Christmas. My oldest said that he was making a list to give to the Easter bunny when we see him so he knows what toys to bring him!

What toys to bring him!

When I was a kid, we got candy and a few small trinkets. There were no name brand toys and I’d be surprised if the toy even lasted. If there was a big toy in it, my brother could remind me, but there was probably just one. Maybe a GI Joe or a Hot Wheel car. I can recall a lot of the Christmas gifts I received from Santa but I couldn’t tell you a thing that the Easter bunny brought me besides a cavity.

My boys are searching through the Sunday Target and Walmart ads for the toys like it’s the day after Thanksgiving.

So… when in Rome.

I didn’t want to be left out of the fun and thought that I needed a basket to hide and search around the house for. And I thought that the perfect kinda basket needed to be something New Orleans or Louisiana themed. The basket needs to be from Louisiana and feature New Orleans or Louisiana based products within it.

I searched the web and found these great 10 New Orleans Themed Gift Baskets that any NOLA lover or homesick friend would love. These would also be great gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, upcoming birthday’s or for your favorite blogger. Huh?

In this list, you’ll find a good variety of baskets with plenty of different choices within each one. When you click on the photo of the basket, it’ll take you to the company website. There you’ll find more options and ideas and how to order the basket. I have nothing to do with the shipping or payment. I make nothing on any of these clicks. So please keep that in mind.

You’ll also need to remember that prices may change and the baskets may change. There is usually shipping costs involved, as well. You can check with the seller and they’ll answer all questions. If you have any issues or problems with one, please let me know so I can deal with it here on my end.

But after all that mumbo jumbo… have fun! Order a basket or two and hide it somewhere in the house and try to find it! It’s a lot of fun! I do it all the time with my keys. Where are they!

If you’ve purchase a gift basket now or have in the past, or you can recommend one that I don’t have listed here, let us know in the comment section below. I’d love to hear about it!
